Freecycle/Rochester is a mailing list where people post about things they want to give away. It's like the Craigslist 'free' section. It has been on The Freecycle Network platform since Nov 04, 2010. Instructions on how to join are on the main Description page (see link above).
Freecycle is a grassroots and entirely nonprofit movement of people who are giving (and getting) stuff for free in their own towns and thus keeping good stuff out of landfills. Membership is free, and everything posted must be FREE, legal and appropriate for all ages. To view the items being given away or sought in the Greater Rochester, NY (U.S.A.) area, you must be a member of the local group. We look forward to your visit!
