McQuaid Jesuit High School is an all-boys catholic high school at the south-east corner of S. Clinton Ave. and Elmwood Ave. in Brighton. The school opened in 1954 to a class of 129 young men who graduated in 1958. The school is named after Rochester Bishop Most Rev. Bernard J McQuaid, who was Bishop of Rochester around 1900. Since then over 8,000 young men have graduated.
