The Anchor Sports Bar and Grill was a bar and restaurant. The Marketplace Mall location opened in September 2009 but closed in the Fall of 2012. History: The original Rochester location opened in September 2009 as the Anchor Bar on East Avenue and closed down in early 2012. This Anchor bar was owned by Michael Collichio1 and was a franchise of the original Anchor Bar and restaurant of the same name in Buffalo.
