The Burgundy Basin had been serving the Rochester community for over 60 years as a banquet facility and caterer located in Bushnell's Basin when it closed in June 2020 during the coronavirus pandemic. From a 1986 ad in the Sunday Democrat & Chronicle: “Fabulous food and splendid facilities, we offer a complete staff of wedding and catering professionals to insure no details are overlooked.
