Rochester in Comics In June 2014 1st Print Comics commissioned limited press run of 1,000 issues of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles issue 34 (IDW) with the Rochester skyline on the cover. The artist was Salvador Otero, a resident of Gates. Story in the Democrat and Chronicle. The Rochester Institute of Technology was mentioned in Doonesbury.
