Greece is one of the largest suburbs in the Rochester metro area, located northwest of the city. It's known for affordable housing, friendly neighborhoods, and a wide range of shopping and dining options. The Mall at Greece Ridge is here, along with numerous plazas and restaurants along Ridge Road and West Ridge Road.
Greece offers some of the most budget-friendly housing in Monroe County, with median home prices in the $200K–$260K range. The housing stock includes everything from classic 1950s–70s ranches and split-levels to newer construction. Greece Central School District serves a large student population.
For outdoor access, Greece Canal Park and Braddock Bay (a premier birding destination) are highlights. Parts of Greece border Lake Ontario, offering waterfront living options in certain neighborhoods. The suburb has excellent highway access via Routes 390 and 104.
