The Edgerton Neighborhood in the northwest section of Rochester, includes beautiful and distinctive older houses and apartment buildings, Jones Park and Edgerton Park, and the Edgerton Community Center at 41 Backus St. The neighborhood was named for Hiram Edgerton, a Rochester mayor in the early 1900's.
