Henrietta is a south-side suburb known as Rochester's commercial and retail hub. Jefferson Road and Marketplace Mall anchor a dense corridor of shopping, dining, and services. Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) is located here, along with Monroe Community College (MCC).
For relocators who work on the south side or along the I-390/Thruway corridor, Henrietta is hard to beat for convenience. Housing tends toward newer construction and is generally affordable, with median prices in the $220Kโ$300K range. Rush-Henrietta Central School District serves the area.
Henrietta also has a Costco, which matters more than you'd think when you're settling in. The suburb is less "charming village" and more "practical suburban," but for commuters, families near RIT, or anyone who values easy access to everything, it's a strong pick.
