A program of the Lesbian and Gay Family Building Project Pride and Joy Families Rochester is a network of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer (LGBTQ)-led families that offers support, education and a sense of community to adults and children. Pride and Joy Families Rochester is one of several Pride and Joy Groups around the state sponsored by The Lesbian and Gay Family Building Project, dedicated to helping LGBTQ people in upstate NY achieve their goals of building and sustaining healthy families.
We do this by providing support, advocacy, information, and access to community and sensitive health care and services. The Pride and Joy Families network uses an Internet list service through yahoo! groups. Please email us for more information on joining this list service.
