Beach Avenue is a scenic residential road that runs along Lake Ontario before turning west and becoming a quiet suburban lane. From Lake Avenue to Greenleaf Road it is part of the city's Charlotte neighborhood. The rest is in Greece. Beach splits into Edgemere Drive once it crosses Slater Creek and Little Pond.
At its westernmost point it turns south and becomes Dewey Avenue. The Roger Robach Community Center is located on Beach Avenue, as is a power plant for Rochester Gas & Electric. Lakeshore Country Club is right around the corner of Greenleaf Road.
