Company Logo Chipotle Mexican Grill is a fast casual national chain restaurant named after the Chipotle. Their first Rochester-area location is on Jefferson Road in the Marketplace Square area next to Great Northern Pizza Kitchens on August 7th 2009. They opened a second location in the city on Mt. Hope Avenue on June 16, 2010.
They opened a 3rd location in Pittsford Plaza in October of 2010. Fourth location opened on West Ridge Road in Greece. Fifth location opened in Irondequoit on March 2015. Sixth location opened in Webster on April 27, 2015.
Additional locations have been popping up since 2015 with more on the way. Some of the newer locations have drive thru's. AKA Chipotle (see revisions there). In the past, McDonald's Corporation owned a majority interest in Chipotle, but has since sold their entire stake in the company.
