Harris Communications is an international communications and information technology company serving government and commercial markets in more than 150 countries. They are based in Melbourne, Florida, but the headquarters of their RF Communications Division is here in Rochester, in the Culver/University/East neighborhood. The building was formerly the Selden Motor Car Company factory and still has an elevator bearing the Selden name.
Today this is the site of the manufacturing and development of Harris's military radios. In 2010 they purchased a large Xerox building in Henrietta.
